Day - 8 - At Sea
We slept in again. It is going to be a rude awakening when we have a 9am excursion tomorrow in Madeira. However, I am looking forward to it.
Back to the
cabin and I googled on my phone what to do if my Dell G5 15 would not turn on.
I was thrilled and amazed that the easy fix worked and I am back in business. I
caught up on my blog. Even though I didn’t take a lot of photos along the way,
the days at sea have been wonderful. I enjoy these sea days at the beginning of
the voyage to really unwind and really get in the mood for adventure.
Finished up
Mexican Train today, no more games for 4 days, that is the next sea day. Tonight
was a late dinner. We sat at the very aft of the ship and enjoyed a beautiful
sunset as we ate. I had veal piccata that was, I think, the best I ever had. A
quick stop at the casino (I’m holding my own, almost) on the way to the show.
Again, it was Rodrigo with the Chapman Stick. Tonight, he played a selections
of Portuguese song. It was very enjoyable. He will be getting off tomorrow in
Funchal.
I will note
today the weather has gotten much cooler, not cold by any means. I am glad it
won’t be hot for terra firma tomorrow! We did have some pretty good movement of
the ship. Everything is set up for our tour.
