Day 7 - At Sea
Today was stressful for me. My laptop would not turn on this morning. Needless to say, I tried everything I knew but it was just not happening. There is no internet “help” as in fixing a laptop on board. I tried to let it go and I did for the rest of the day.
It is formal night.
We had the typical seaday of sleeping in late, late breakfast, Mexican Train,
etc. We relaxed until it was time to get ready. Service was a bit off tonight
and the meal took longer than anticipated. I had a VERY chatty man sitting next
to me. It was challenging. However, we did get finished in time to make it to
the show. Singers and Dancers with Swing era songs. Made me think of my Mom as
she would play some of those songs and sing to them as well. It took close to two
hours for me to lose my allotted amount at the Black Jack table, so that was a
lot of fun. We always meet some new and usually enjoyable people wherever we
go. After that it was a quick stop at the Rolling Stone Lounge and we did see
the captain dancing with someone. He is tall, thin, and bald. He seems to do a
good job keeping us informed on everything.
